Review từ sinh viên Việt Nam tại Cleveland State University
👤 Phạm Minh Tuấn – Năm 2, Cử nhân Mechanical Engineering, Cleveland State University
“Mình du học từ 2023, chọn CSU vì co-op program + chi phí rẻ. Tuition $30k + room & board $13k = $43k/năm. Merit scholarship mình $12k/năm → effective $31k/năm rẻ nhất. Engineering co-op là highlight: Spring 2024 mình work full-time tại Parker Hannifin (manufacturing company) $22/giờ 40 tuần = $3,520/tháng – cover living expenses hoàn toàn. Classroom: labs modern, instructors accessible, classmates support. Downtown Cleveland safe, vibrant, museums gần. Vietnamese community ~80 students. Plan tốt nghiệp 2025: H-1B sponsorship from co-op employer hoặc other manufacturing company rất khả thi. Co-op experience + degree = competitive.”
👤 Trần Thu Hương – Năm 3, Cử nhân Nursing, Cleveland State University
“Mình RN tại Việt Nam, quay lại du học cử nhân US để RN license Mỹ. CSU nursing program partnership với Cleveland Clinic – tốt. Co-op clinical rotations tại Clinic hospitals – real patient care, paid internship. Tuition $30k/năm, scholarship $10k → $20k effective. Clinical experience invaluable – after graduation, employers readily hire CSU nurses (Cleveland Clinic + network). NCLEX pass rate 92% (CSU graduates). Plan: graduate 2026, H-1B sponsorship từ Cleveland Clinic, work 3 năm OPT + H-1B, then green card petition. Hospital healthcare sponsor readily. Chi phí thấp + job certainty = smart choice.”
